Annie is a lifelong swimmer. She grew up swimming in central Ohio, and swam for THE Ohio State University where she was a team captain and sprint freestyler. She is a former teacher and a mom of 3: ages 6, 8, and 10. This will be her fourth year coaching the Storm! Her favorite thing about swim team is helping swimmers build confidence and community. Annie knows firsthand how lessons learned in the pool can translate to life on dry land.
Mike grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been in Davidson since 2011. When he wasn’t playing ice hockey, he spent summers swimming competitively in freestyle and backstroke, and has since completed several half Ironmans. He and his wife have two daughters (10 and 12) who are also part of the swim team. Swimming Hole member for the past decade.
Lindsay McClelland is a former NCAA Division III swimmer at the University of Mary Washington with over seven years of coaching experience. A lifelong athlete, she is also a certified yoga instructor, run coach, and 32-time marathoner. As a Swimming Hole member for four years and a mom to a 6-year-old, she loves the community and looks forward to bringing fun and a love of the water to Lightning Squad practices.
